A R Rahman won two Grammy Awards, best compilation soundtrack for a motion picture and Jai Ho for best motion picture song. Rahman shared the Grammy with Gulzar who is the lyricist for Jai Ho. Accepting the award Rahman was quoted saying “This is insane, god is great again. It is known that Rahman had already won couple of Oscars for Slumdog millionaire.
